Printing was one of the first applications of printing - Babbage had a printer for his Difference and Analytical Engines for doing maths tables. It's a very basic task yet the latest iPhone can't print reliably! It goes to sleep, then the printer prints lots of blank pages.

All the digital healthcare journals I've looked at want short articles, have a strange idea what 'research' and 'opinion' articles are (they'd define maths as opinion) --- in short, it's no wonder computer science is a mess in medicine. We can't publish decent research.
