Our 9-1-1 Center is already getting reports of vehicle rescues near Joppatowne from rising waters. Please, if you see standing water in the road, turn around. Don't risk your life or those of first responders who may need to rescue you.

In addition to the floods in the southern part of the county, parts of northern Harford have gotten 3" of rain in 30 minutes; local waterways are rising. Up to 3 to 4" are still expected. Please avoid driving through standing water. If you don’t have to go out, please stay in.

5 Humvees, 2 light-medium tactical vehicles & 16 members of the 1297th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion of the MD National Guard are deployed to Harford to help with storm response. They received instructions & guidance in the EOC before being deployed throughout the county.
