Today I met with the CEO of Rogers. We’re bringing everyone to the table — working with telecom providers to leverage innovative solutions for emergency communications, so first responders & evacuees in rural communities have access to vital information during emergencies.

We’re working hard to support our first responders with leading technology to detect disasters early and provide vital communications services to those in need. We’ll continue to work closely with the federal government to find new innovative ways to support Canadians.
