Now I see why productions team(s) are needed.

Going through old pics and it's finally hit me that the thing I've been missing...is living a life. I've spent so much time building this company I kinda stepped away from everything. I'll change that this weekend.

To Focus is to IGNORE Everything else.

The high level producers that I know are never in a rush. In fact, they're pretty laid back despite the fact they have tons of projects to work on and contractual obligations. The common trait? They simplify and stay organized and the reject anything else.

TRUTH: There is no rule that says you MUST take a long time to create a song. There is no rule that says you MUST take 6 hours to mix a record. Are we making music, or flexing?

We are basically tech companies. To think anything otherwise would lead to a complete and utter crash. Adjust accordingly.

High Expectations = Low Resilience Don't overthink it.

Don't downgrade your goals because of how difficult the ones you really want are.

I worked hard to get busy with projects and now that I am with busy with projects I am working hard to not be busy.

Your workflow as a producer is basically 50% of your sound. It'll make sense once you have it down.

Tried something weird last week. I video recorded one of my sessions so I can go back and see what I could improve on to make the experience even better. Man....I could be doing so much more to help the artists make better records. Try it. Let me know what if it helps.

50% of a great studio session comes from the prep. If at any moment you can dive right into creating music efficiently, you're already half way there to making a great song. Get rid of the bottlenecks.
