A big thank you to all who joined us today for the last parkrun of the year at Hanworth. A massive well done to Otto (pictured) who celebrated his 500th parkrun today and to Keith who marshalled for us today which was his 50th time volunteering.

There will no event at Hanworth parkrun on 11th January. After an early course check by some of our core team today part of our route is very iced over already and there is no way we can divert around this. Although this maybe disappointing for some, safety must come first.

After a course check this afternoon an unavoidable part of the course has become a bit of a smelly bog so we will not be on tomorrow. We hope a week of sunny days like today will help dry it out and we can be back next week.
