If someone has been assessed by OT / Physio as ao1 with a frame, please don’t bed pan them for ease. Think about their wishes, we want to prevent deconditioning as much as possible 🙈

After asking CSP to lobby physiotools to include content of more racial diversity- absolutely delighted with their response. Currently 90 percent of pics show white people. This is huge step forward for the profession and in respecting the people we serve. Ros Collingswood, PhD

Keeping #olderadults in their wheelchairs all day to prevent falls is not a fall prevention strategy. You are actually making them MORE at risk to fall!

Good luck to everyone getting results today. If you don’t get what you expected, please be kind to yourself and try not to compare what you get with your friends. Numbers on a piece of paper do not define who you are - or determine what you’re capable of achieving. #ResultsDay

Taking 4 or more medications per day increases the risk of falling. Medication is among the most common cause of falls but is one of the easiest risk factors to change. An extra 2 minutes looking into medication could prevent the next fall. Follow our top tip today #ThinkFalls

Really hope the fuel locally sorts itself out, otherwise this community physio won't be able to get to his patients 😵
