This is a complete disgrace and St John's should be thoroughly ashamed of this decision. The choral tradition which is the gift of this nation to the western church is dying, and groups like SJV have been at the forefront of promoting and preserving it. This must be fought.

Such a bizarre decision by St John's College, Cambridge to disband the outstanding @StJohnsVoices and discontinue Mon evensong. How can this serve "inclusivity"? How do the clergy & chapel serve the community better by reducing Christian worship? Surely they can afford the time & money for both.
