Published in #MNRAS: "Molecular clouds as hubs in spiral galaxies: gas inflow and evolutionary sequence", Zhou et al. This is Fig. 1: for the caption & to read the paper please visit academic.oup.com/mnras/article/… Oxford Journals Royal Astronomical Society

✨#paperday arxiv.org/abs/2412.07862 ✨with STScI postdoc Jimena Rodriguez ✨we search for dusty star clusters in 19 nearby galaxies using the PHANGS-JWST Treasury Survey, and find a very short timescale (<3 Myr) for the dust embedded phase. Figs 17 & 18 are my favs!

🎉It's paper day!!🎉 Our latest paper explores the connection between radio spectral slopes and dust extinction in quasars using data from the uGMRT 📡 National Centre for Radio Astrophysics Astro-Obs Newcastle 🔭 Paper: arxiv.org/abs/2501.10501

I’m visiting Max-Planck-Institut für Astronomie in Heidelberg this week! Happy to chat about galaxy formation and evolution, as well as mid-infrared emission from young clusters in nearby galaxies!

So excited to share an interview with Dr. Janice Lee (Dr Janice Lee) I wrote with astrobites to celebrate AAPI month! Read about her journey and amazing work with the Habitable Worlds Observatory and PHANGS here: astrobites.org/2025/05/28/int…
