HA-meural can now be installed via HACS as a custom repository! If nothing seems to go haywire as more people try it, I’ll request it be added as a default repo soon. github.com/GuySie/ha-meur…

We'd like to organize a Home Assistant conference. However, this year, due to COVID-19, we are thinking about a worldwide, online event, for everybody to join. We are looking for a platform to host this event on. Who could host our open source Home Assistant event? 🙏

I like Home Assistant's default theme... except... those floating/elevated borders everywhere! ☹️ So, I made one of the smallest and useless themes available, just to deal with that. 😬 github.com/frenck/home-as… Theme "Outline" is also available in HACS 🤘

Home Assistant will use Lit 2.0 in the next release. This is a major bump. If you are a custom card developer and rely on our shipped version (which we don't recommend), test your card against the latest nightly to make sure it still works. developers.home-assistant.io/blog/2021/05/1…

Spring cleanup in Home Assistant land. We're wrapping up our migration to Material 2 elements, so it will be easier to adopt Material 3. If you're a custom card developer and rely on `paper` elements imported by HA (not supported!), check developers.home-assistant.io/blog/2022/02/1…

Do you maintain a custom component? Check out the new features that you can use with Home Assistant 2022.4 developers.home-assistant.io/blog/2022/03/3…

We can't longer support the unmaintained old library blueby at Home Assistant. This means your custom/integration which uses this, stops working. We strongly recommend replacing it with Bleak, a maintained and modern BLE python library

{% from 'HACS' import custom_templates %} Reusable (custom) templates were one of the big things added in Home Assistant 2023.4 Those who have enabled experimental features for HACS can now manage those. experimental.hacs.xyz/docs/categorie…
