Playing around in PrusaSlicer 2.5, and the Arachne engine. No question it is great for small areas, and avoiding gapfill. However, it doesn't appear to be without downsides. #prusaslicer (1/3)

The Arachne engine can introduce some unexpected smoothing in fine details. My initial understanding of Arachne was that it would only impact internal lines, but it is easy to see when moving to a 0.6mm nozzle. Note the smoothed over grill on this Jeep toy. #PrusaSlicer (2/3)

Just as a check, this behavior is the Arachne engine, and not just PrusaSlicer 2.5. Here is Cura 5.1.1, also with a 0.6mm nozzle, and same line width. Not saying it is a bug, but something to be mindfull of. #PrusaSlicer #Cura (3/3)

Well played 3DChameleon! If manufacturers aren't going to include detailed instructions with your product, make it absolutely obvious what to do. Videos on SDcards, and no mention, or QR codes on an inside box flap, are too easy to miss. Looking at you Bambu Lab.
