Contrary to popular belief, the grind does not work You do not succeed by grinding 12 hours a day slaving your time away You succeed by having tenacity to keep going for years/decades And that only works if you’re working hard sustainably It’s a marathon guys

Your startup doesn't need to change the world. It needs to change the lives of a small group of people who will pay you for that change.

The entrepreneurs making the most money aren't the ones you read about. They're solving specific problems for specific people at specific prices.

A project that you think is super simple might be just what the customer is looking for. If you save someone - time - money - both(!) You could have a real winner. Perhaps even more important - identify an ICP with deep pockets (usually not indie hackers)

Nobody is coming to save you. All you can do is 1) ship 2) do things that don't scale 3) learn 4) iterate 5) repeat About point 2, here are a few of my favourite resources 👇

Does anyone know a html/css template that looks really good for local service businesses? Like a local appliance repair. Keep it simple for people to hire someone. So many templates are tech focused and I am looking for something different.

tl;dr - if this logo is good enough for this new big company with money to burn, then your icon logo is fine too. Just launch. Nicely presented though, not knocking it or the reasoning.

None of these such problems in Hacker Cabin ☺️ Very pleased I started putting together a community away from the noise over 2 years ago now. Yes, it cannot compare reach wise, but not everything is just about reach and sales.

Like everything before it, it's the best until something better comes along. Hard to imagine, but one day some clever person will invent something new and we'll all be like "can you remember when we had to use Tailwind 🤯" It's just the way of things.
