Went through and completely re-coded all of the sword attacks to use tracers instead of projectiles. I think it has payed off. I probably could have used this past week to work on the new character model... but uh... yea.. So now damage is much more consistent.

STILL working on guy for ESCALATION OVERDRIVE. Still not sure about a few things, might adjust the plates on the legs and arms. Also stitches. Those are important. You don't understand. Also removed the little packs, like why have them when he ran out of ammo ages ago.

Armor damage, messing around with it. Redid the sword to be a bit more original, it has Latin phrases engraved in it. Kind of inspired by bloodborne's kirkhammer. the sword comes from a separate reality consumed by hell.

Redid the sword engravings, but keeping the text. currently working on the hilt engravings. was inspired by gothic church steeples.

redid the whole chest part, to be a bit like a bulletproof vest. also messing around with strap harness kind of inspired by MGS. some day i'll finish it, some day...

I think the harness is sort of done. probably need to mess around with textures more.

OMG THE SPRITES ARE EVEN MORE PLACEHOLDER CHILL Anyways redid some of the stance attacks on the sword. the left stance is a flurry attack (bunch of swings) and the right is now a much large area attack. It doesn't look to much different then the main attack...

quintuple kick, as you level up the medium attacks become combos. they look a bit goofy but uh probably just needs more work and real sprites lol. Also thinking making a bluesky account?
