All systems go at Tynfield Park today! Penrith Cricket Club 2XI at home to Appleby Eden C.C and we welcome Gamblesby who will play their fixture on our back pitch due to their ground being unfit. Great to be able to support and help out other local teams in the Eden Valley League 🏏☄️

Hottest day of the year so far, Saturdays pitch got a much needed soak! High teens forecast all week so hoping for an absolute belter of a track!

Central wicket practice for the senior boys tonight 🙌 seen worse training wickets 🔥🥵 Saturdays pitch is coming along nicely, not often I need to water one on a Tuesday given our traditional Cumbrian weather!

Almost ready for the weekends fixtures! Last day of baking and rolling hopefully things can shape up nicely and the 1XI have a batting paradise tomorrow

Monday night shift complete 👍 weekends pitch cut, rolled, foot holes repaired and re painted ready for the Cumbria Cricket Board under 15 game tomorrow!

Got caught in the rain tonight! Went from glorious 20 degree sunshine to heavy rain in the space of 30 mins! Mid way though painting the lines so decided to shelter and finish the lines under the covers 🙌 work smarter not harder 🤯☔️💧🤷

Training pitch all sorted for tonight’s senior practice! I’ve certainly played on worse 🙌 Penrith Cricket Club first XI gunning for the league title so hopefully some centre wicket practice every week can only benefit them!
