Superb achievement…Aine Donegan was in the Top 10 at the 2023 US Open up to the mid part of the 3rd round at Pebble Beach and was one of the stories of the week. She’s now qualified (again as an amateur) for the 2024 US Women’s Open in 4 weeks time at Lancaster, Pennsylvania.👏

Really nice win for Lowry & McIlroy. They enjoyed themselves all week. Playing with a smile is part of the game. Interesting to see if this is a season turning point for Rory. Easy to pinpoint stuff that’s been a bit off in his game this year while still winning twice before May.

Also abundantly clear that the PGA Tour has neglected Australia as a market. LIV is onto something but only because pampered PGA tour players showed their rejection of Australia as far back as 2001 when 10 of the world’s top 15 including Tiger, ignored WGC Matchplay in Melbourne.
