Just downloaded this and even though I may be slightly biased, I had a whale of a time. if you're looking for an #indiegame with a unique charm and interesting gameplay look no further. It's like a first-person Overcooked in space, with a single player campaign.

My first two posts are up! I stumble across an interesting design question in the second - to make the core mechanics in engine and then plan levels, or to plan levels and then make the mechanics? I go a bit more in depth on this in the post: jamesmoyse.com/blog #gamedev

Post: 3 The Level Timeline. Today I am working on documenting my level plans. First things first is a timeline, which helps me to visualize the flow of a level. If you're interested in #gamedev or #leveldesign, check out my blog here: jamesmoyse.com/post/the-level… #indiedev

Act 2, part 1 of 2 all planned out. This area aims to teach and test the stealth mechanics, with increasingly difficult challenges that combine everything the player has learnt so far. Read more about it here: jamesmoyse.com/post/act-2-par… #leveldesign #indiedev #gamedev

I am happy to say the documentation and development planning side of things are complete. This part of #gamedev isn't always glamourous, but it's gotta be done. Check out how I went about it here: jamesmoyse.com/post/ldd1-deve… #gamedesign #IndieGameDev #indiedev

Whipped up a neat little pick up, drop and throw system for physics objects in #UE4 this afternoon. This will be the core mechanic the player will use while progressing through my #levedesign demo. jamesmoyse.com/blog #gamedev #unrealengine #indiedev #gamedesign

Polished up the physics interaction system this morning adding visual indicators for impact sounds to help with the system’s readability. I also added the “Deadly Throw” ability, which is unlocked later in game. Actual sounds coming soon. #gamedev #indiedev #UE4 #gamedesign

If you're interested in how I went about making the physics interaction system, check out my blog post below. If you wanna know even more, like this post... I may just drop some screenshots of the blueprints. jamesmoyse.com/post/the-physi… #UE4 #gamedev #indiedev #gamedesign

I’m sad to say I’m leaving the level design demo in the dust, but I’m happy to say it is because I have secured a game design internship at Antimatter games. Onwards and upwards. #gamedev
