After watching the dash-cam video and reading the recount of this disturbing incident, I am praying that Attorney McLeod gets the help he deserves and needs. Based on what we know so far and what we’ve seen in the footage, his bid for Governor should respectfully end 🙏🏾

Saddened to learn of the passing of Trooper Ricks. My prayers are with his family, friends and our law enforcement community 🙏🏾

History was made last night! At just 24, my colleague Rep. Keishan Scott was sworn in as the youngest member of the SC House. In 1868, 85 Black men ages 19–30 made up the majority in that same chamber. His victory is an ode to history & a nod to the future.
