Had a few minutes to hit the range with some CCI Blazer 230gr FMJ factory ammo. Standing, resting on a padded rail at 15yds. 3 shots...surprised the heck out of me. The first 3 shot group was very slightly larger. See y'all in about 10 days. I am out....

Well, I did find time to prep ribs last night and threw them in the smoker at 1100hrs today. Using pecan for a mild smoke flavor. This is a Smokitex electric smoker. Ribs should be done about 1600hrs.

Had to test the Federal Tactical, 8-pellet Buckshot load in my Win Defender. At 15 yards, it blows a 1 inch hole through the target. If I used this for a 2-legged varmint in my home, I'd be cleaning my carpet forever. At 31yds, I had to aim low right to get closer to center.
