Had a premature calf this week. Was pretty small and weak. Our vet suggested trying 30 ml of a energy drinks as she had seen a recent article on it. Safer than trying to tube it with HE electrolytes and really seemed to help. Gave a 2nd dose 24 hrs later before milk. Works!

Well she’s full on blizzard today. Had to break out my special ops gear. And yes that is a herd of cows just over my shoulder to the left…#calvingseason23isunderway
