The 2023 Minnesota Golf Association Junior Boys' POY and soon-to-be Minnesota Men's Golf freshman Torger Ohe fired a 6-under 65 to sit atop the leaderboard following the opening round of the 99th Minnesota State Junior Boys' Championship Alexandria Golf Club.

Torger Ohe tallied an 8-under 207 Alexandria Golf Club and Geneva Golf Club to earn a three-stroke victory at the 99th Minnesota State Junior Boys' Championship, collecting his second state win in two seasons.
