Just started a custom generator PoC to Bud: github.com/livebud/bud/pu…! This will allow you to extend the framework with your own code generators. Some details to work out, but it's really shaping up. I'm super happy with Bud's filesystem abstraction. Feedback welcome!

Wonderful article by Preslav Rachev that digs deep into why I moved from Node.js to Go, why I decided to build Bud and where Bud is going in the next year. Check it out!

Markdown and Tailwind support is coming soon! This PR is the first step towards being able to write custom file transforms! github.com/livebud/bud/pu… Let me know what you think!

Just open-sourced the type-safe Postgres client I built for Standup Jack 6 years ago that led me to Prisma Postgres. github.com/matthewmueller… It's still in production! Future updates will find their way in Bud.

Today I hacked on weblog, a minimal blog that will serve as a real-world example project for Bud. github.com/livebud/weblog Blogs are a good use case because they're easy to write, but require many fundamentals that you'd need to build a site. Weblog will be running on Bud 🔜

Really excited about the upcoming "transform service" that can be used by any code generator: github.com/livebud/bud/pu… Figuring out how this would work has been 🤯 but I'm really happy with the final solution.

🥕 v0.2.6 is out! This release is 5 months in the making! While you might not notice much from the outside, nearly all the internals have been re-written. A lot of new features coming soon 😎 Learn more in the Changelog: github.com/livebud/bud/bl…

I took another pass at the custom generator API. This turned out way powerful than I originally thought once you start considering core generators that can optionally pull in custom application-level generators. github.com/livebud/bud/pu…

Just shipped Tailwind CSS for Go: github.com/livebud/tailwi… Unlike the other options that spawn a subprocess, this package embeds Tailwind into the library itself. As a result, it's faster and easier to install 💪 Going to integrate it into Bud soon ⚡️

🌲 Just open-sourced a new HTTP router for Go! • Trie-based router for faster lookup • Supports required, optional, regexp and wildcard slots • Nice alternative to gorilla/mux • Smart slot delimiters (e.g. match /{from}-{to}) • 100s of tests → github.com/livebud/mux
