Today at AERO Gatineau-Ottawa RCAF welcomed the first two CT-102B Astra II training aircraft to Canada from Germany as part of the Future Aircrew Training program. These aircraft will next be flown to Moose Jaw where they will be used to develop training plans and instructor proficiency.

Weapons Engineering Technicians let out the TAPS (Towed Active-Passive Sonar) in preparation for a CASEX (Combined Anti-Submarine Warfare Exercise) as part of #ExALON. Once the array is out, it’s all on the Sonar Operators to detect and locate the targets. One ping only!
