Today, at approximately 3:53pm, GFRD responded to reports of a garage fire in the area of 1300 E Parkside Dr. Crews found a small fire in a garage at a single family home. GFRD crews quickly stopped it from extending to the structure with no injuries to report.

Gilbert fire crews responded to the area of 7300 S Debra Dr for a house fire. Heavy fire was found in the garage on arrival and was quickly brought under control. No injuries to report.

Update on the Harrison fire. 1 occupant was treated on scene but denied transportation to the hospital. GFRD investigators are on scene working towards finding a cause. No Gilbert Fire personnel were injured.

Update on the Country Plaza Way fire. The fire is out and the GFRD investigator is on scene. This fire started in the garage and was able to quickly spread to the attic space due to the ceiling having no drywall. Four adult occupants escaped without injury.
