Today, I visited Ofua I and witnessed the significant impact of UNFPA Uganda's crucial efforts. With the support of Embassy of Japan in Uganda 🇯🇵 🇺🇬, communities are receiving essential sexual and reproductive health services directly at their doorstep.
With the support of Embassy of Japan in Uganda 🇯🇵 🇺🇬, UNFPA Uganda has jointly launched the #DELISiE project, providing lifesaving #SRHR and #GBV services to refugees and vulnerable populations in Uganda. On the eve of #WorldRefugeeDay, we reaffirm our commitment to leaving no one behind.
Had a productive meeting today focused on strategies to end teenage pregnancy and child marriage in Uganda. Grateful for the participation of Ministry of Health- Uganda, Ministry of Education and Sports - Uganda, Ministry of Local Government, Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development and UNICEF Uganda, we can ensure a brighter future for every girl!
