The Technical Commission and Plenary meetings of GIABA was held in Dakar-Senegal from 13-16 May, 2025. The following meetings held: Evaluation & Compliance Group; Risks Trends & Methods Group and the Plenary. The plenary concluded successfully on Friday the 16th of May, 2025.

The 30th GIABA Ministerial Committee Meeting held on the May 27, 2025 in Dakar Senegal. The meeting considered and adopted the report of the co-chairs ECG, RTMG, the 43rd TC and Plenary meetings of GIABA. Ministers expressed great appreciation for the work of GIABA. See photos..

The 2nd Extraordinary GIABA Ministerial Committee (GMC) meeting concluded in Accra, Ghana, Saturday, 19, 2025. The Ministers unanimously adopted the decision to allow the 3 Sahel Countries leaving ECOWAS to join GIABA as Non-ECOWAS members.

GMC - This AES proposal would be pass to ECOWAS Council of Ministers and the Authority of Heads of State and Government for their consideration. The GMC considered the importance of dealing with insecurity in the region in a collaborative manner in their decision. See photos
