Ding. Hck.. where am I? Have I arrived? *The rocky canine rose from the wooden flooring of the bedroom he had accompanied over the past few days. It could have been considered luxurious; after-all the ship was limited to fifty passengers, including himself.

*Shortly after waking up, he swayed down the hallway to where the “exit ding” rang at the corner of the ship. Over his left shoulder hung a leather backpack that contained various maps, watches, compasses and a journal.

While his handsome demeanor may trick a typical bystander that he knew exactly what he was doing, this was his first time completing an expedition by himself. Normally, he tagged along with others.

And although he wasn’t concise with his initial plan or the possibilities that may come of it, he still remained naturally as sharp as a whip. The salty air encompassed his lungs satisfyingly as he exited the ship; Olivine City already presenting him a “warm” welcome.*

“Olivine City, I am in you.” The stupid words would have slithered right out of his mouth had he been surrounded by familiar faces. Instead, he looked back at the ship once and then proceeded to explore this new and fascinating region.

Unlike his hometown, Olivine had a small town essence he was unable to identify. The feeling lingered as he began to illustrate comparisons of the building’s heights in his mind. Culture shock.
