I really am excited for Christmas but the thought of January gives me so much stress!! Not only is it my first ever Pupillage season, but I’m commencing on the ICCA bar course and have a mini pupillage scheduled! All extremely exciting stuff… but also very stressful🤣

Once it becomes acceptable in the UK to imprison people without any court process, knowing that some of them are not only innocent of any crime but are fleeing persecution, where will it end?

Those interviewing for pupillage this year, here’s a top tip. Think about arguments for and against the cab rank rule, especially in relation to Climate Change issues (i.e., prosecuting protesters or representing fossil fuel companies). I have a feeling that this will come up!

I hope this reaches its audience: I didn't pass the Bar Course with an Outstanding, didn't get my Masters with a Distinction, didn't secure pupillage in my 1st attempt. Yet I'll start pup this Oct, you don't need to be a perfect genius, even if social media can give this feeling

Does anyone have any spare mock examination papers for the BSB civil / criminal litigation exams? I’ve got my hands on this years mock but would hugely benefit from any previous copies.
