Drowning remains a major yet preventable public health challenge in India. Through π¦πΊ #DirectAidProgram, the SwimSafe initiative provided #swimming and water safety skills to over 300 children in #Kerala. Congrats to the Guunu-maana (Heal) team on their Cancer Institute NSW Aboriginal Cancer Research Grant to develop a culturally safe cancer care model for First Nations people. It will use Indigenous frameworks like yarning to support decolonising approach that values Aboriginal perspectives.
