Dharali, Uttarkashi, India — A "Sediment Bomb" Exploded A cloudburst triggered a deadly debris flow on Aug 5, turning an old alluvial fan into a disaster zone within minutes. Homes were built where rivers once flowed — and just did again.

Yesterday, while Uttarkashi faced the biggest disaster of the decade, a bus in Kinnaur, Himachal narrowly escaped a similar fate , it crossed just seconds before a flash flood hit. Just a matter of moments… it could’ve been a major tragedy.
