Regional track update: Stella Rethman finishes 11st in the 1600m run with a time of 5:38.88 Braden Lesher finishes6 13th in the 1600m run with a time of 4:41.54 Lindsey Brown finishes 6th in the 300m hurdles with a time of 46.04

STATE QUALIFIER! Nathan Kesler ran a time of 49.29 in the 400m dash which placed him 3rd overall. Nathan also qualified in the 200m dash with a time of 22.53 which earned him 3rd place. Congratulations Nathan!

Regional track and field update: Colby Ralston jumped a height of 6'2" to earn 6th place at Lexington in the high jump. Great job Colby!

Genoa Track and Field Update: The 4 x 400m relay team of Knight, Schimmoeller, Buehler and Kesler finished in 5th place with a SCHOOL RECORD time of 3:23.72 Great job Comets!

Shout out to the boys 4x400m relay for breaking the school record AGAIN - 3:23.72! This time is good for state top 10 and an at-large bid to Columbus next week! Congrats Adam, Luke, Sam, and Nate!

Congrats to NATHAN KESLER for qualifying for the state meet in the 200m dash and the 400m dash! Nate also broke his own school record in the 400m with a 49.29!

We have been waiting for official confirmation and we now have it - congrats to COLBY RALSTON for earning the final at-large qualifier to the state championships in high jump next week at Jesse Owens Stadium!

Big congrats to Lindsey Brown for placing 6th at regionals in the 300H! Lindsey just missed the final qualifying spot to state, but had a tremendous season and is getting close to our school record in this event.
