🧬 Gene of the Week: CFTR! Mutations in the CFTR gene cause cystic fibrosis, leading to thick mucus in lungs & digestive issues. Innovative CFTR modulators like Ivacaftor and Trikafta (elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor) target these mutations, improving lung function!
