#Amiga geeks. I'm trying to find an old workbench application from before 1994 that would play an endless algorithmic based tune. In was called something like rhythm box or blues box. Do you know what this could be?

I’ve been working on the image search and conversion proxy services for C64 OS. It uses a combination of JIMP (JavaScript Image Manipulation Program) and RetroPixels. I’ve been focused on aspect ratio correction. Check how perfectly circular the Coke logo looks! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» #C64

The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves.

No surprises here. Classic gray (the color that won the poll) is sold out in the Founders Edition. Still available as non-FE. Blue is also almost sold out in FE.

We had a bug like this in the third #Elite game (Frontier: First Encounters) where the gas giants had a hexagonal character to the storms at the poles too, due to the recursive triangle subdivision algorithm we used for planet surfaces. That's why we overrode the colour contrast

In this video I take a look at #Commodore64 "Wanted! Monty Mole" published in 1984 by Gremlin Graphics. I look at the animated character set, old hidden BASIC code, find a hidden M/C monitor, and hack the tape auto run the old way with old tools. youtube.com/watch?v=347ZN0…

At some point the channel rolled over 8000 subs. Thanks to everyone for continuing to support the channel. It's been slow growth but more importantly, it's been a whole lot of fun.

Like something from a Japanese horror film, the legendary and genuinely creepy Fifth Housemate lurked in the background of every episode of series one of THE YOUNG ONES (1982). I've watched the series countless times since I was 12 and only became aware of this about 7 years ago!
