3 weeks ago our wee dog was diagnosed with cancer. It was a shock. He’s fine at present but the vet recommended no hill walking. It’s taken time to adjust but this week we’ve got some cycling in after an easy morning walk. Four from today’s ride out to Glen Tilt 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Four from a wee van trip to Glenmore in the Cairngorms 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Just forest walks with the dog which feels strange after years of heading to the hills up there.

Took my gravel bike up to Glenmore 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and enjoyed 2 rides on the forest tracks. Haven’t done these in years and thoroughly enjoyed it 👍

Four from a bike and hike ascent of Beinn Dearg (1008m) above Blair Atholl. My last ascents were in 2004 and 1999 and both involved an overnight in Allt Scheicheachan Bothy after a drive up from Cumbria. Today I cycled in and out to the bothy #Munro

Took the train from Pitlochry to Aviemore this morning and then cycled 60 miles home following Sustrans Route 7 over Drumochter Pass. Stunning day for a ride 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🚴‍♂️

Four from a hike and bike up Carn a’ Chlamain (964m) a #Munro above Glen Tilt. Cycled into Clachghlas from Blair Atholl and then did a circuit over the hill. Excellent walking weather and views.

After minor surgery 6 days ago to remove a Basal Cell Carcinoma from my nose it was great to get up our local #Corbett Ben Vrackie this morning. Too many days in the mountains over 50 years with too little sunscreen 😢

After a wet morning spent in Keswick ( including a traditional trawl around the gear shops ) we headed out to climb High Rigg in much improved weather. Some excellent views - great to see Castle Rock of Triermain again 👍
