It was a wonderful night reminiscing about the good old days and swapping stories with former players turned long time friends. I enjoyed watching Sean use his motivational powers on the next generation of studs. You guys are up next Bradley Gompers John Banbury!

Thanks for everything Sully. Whether it was time or not doesn’t change the fact that he was hugely responsible for the 2016 and 2017 Cups. I will always remember his time in Pittsburgh fondly.

The good news is that we finally got an update from West Penn Power about when our power is scheduled to return. The bad news is that they have suggested it won’t be until Sunday night at 11:00. #blessed

MLB is a super long season and I’m never one to make snap decisions but there’s just no way you can defend Ben Cherington and Derek Shelton at this point. The best time to dismiss them would have been last off-season but the second best time is right now.

I'll never celebrate someone losing their dream job, but this was long overdue. That being said, much like getting rid of Andy Haines, I don't see this moving the needle all that much.

I thought this blurb from SI’s MLB preview was interesting given the first portion of the season. The best case scenario and the worst case scenario are both very much in play here!

It’s absolutely staggering to me that Ben Cherington still is employed as GM.

I actually think Skenes might be underrated at this point. I’ve been watching baseball for a long time and I’ve never seen anyone in a Pirates uniform make it look this easy this consistently over time.

Part of it is that I just love the sport of baseball, but the MLB season is just so long and there are always ebbs and flows, but this Pirates team sweeping the Phillies is precisely why I keep watching.

My favorite songwriter of all time. My heart breaks but I feel super fortunate to have seen him live so many times. Thank you for providing the soundtrack for so many great moments in my life.
