I deleted my explicitly saved ChatGPT memories and the responses I started getting from 4o were noticeably better. it was kind of odd how from my pov the model 'knew' a small slice of me, but from the model's pov that small slice was me. the explicit memories felt weighted too

ai models create a new variable to harmonize in user interfaces: color, iconography, typography, motion, layout, and now, model tone. claude leans warm and fuzzy. great for introspective questions, but creates an interesting contrast to one of its strongest use cases—coding.

So excited to share one of my white-whale projects: a fully physics-based, holographic foil shader. Each pixel simulates a ray of light diffracting into a rainbow of waves, which add and subtract to create these incredible patterns. Not a single gradient was used here!
