Blown away by GenAI video capabilities of Stability AI's latest Stable Video Diffusion 1.1 Image-to-Video latent diffusion model (SVD 1.1), available on Hugging Face. I created this video on Amazon Web Services from a single image using the SVD 1.1 model and ComfyUI.

“Prompt engineers” is BS. I can have an LLM generate complex prompts 10x better than humans with minimal context. “Prompt engineers” is a feel-good ruse designed to provide false hope to people who will soon be displaced by AI.

I'm frequently asked to review architectures for customers’ proof-of-concepts. Most are agentic, most use agents, and…most don't require them. They are deterministic workflows that access an LLM but have been “agent-washed” due to a misunderstanding of the technology or FOMO.
