Moving on with work around the new putting green and 1st tee this week. Shrub beds planted, slate added and signage reset as well. On the course we mowed greens, followed by a nutritional spray application. New putting green was mown at 7mm and given a spray too 👍🏻

Lots of jobs being undertaken this week. Origin Amenity Solutions Bluewater being added to the pond, new path around the 18th green/1st tee is now almost completed and PG is being mowed at 5mm. Lots of mowing going on + greens, tees & surrounds sprayed with a nutritional/wetting agent mix

Lovely morning to spray our first Origin Amenity Solutions Symbio compost tea of the season today. DegrAid, Aquacept, Seaweed, Bio Tabs, Liquid Aeration & CMS Shoot added aswell. Re-brew will be sprayed on tees at the end of the week too 👍🏻

Greens maintenance work today, consisting of: verti-cutting, mowing, solid tining and an application of Symbio thatch eater to increase beneficial fungi & bacteria within the soil and help to degrade and convert organic matter to humus 🦠

Lots of mowing this week to get on top of the surge in growth at the minute. Tees & approaches/surrounds were sprayed with a mix of PGR, chelated iron, selective herbicide & wetting agent. Bunker maintenance continues and even managed a couple of pedestrian cuts on the greens 👍🏻

Lots of overseeding this week throughout the course using our new Vredo Dodewaard B.V. overseeder & Barenbrug UK seed. Concentrating on winter traffic damage and general wear & tear areas. Will be aiming to carry this work out again in mid and late summer also 👍🏻🌱

Another busy week as we prepare for Club Championships. As well as general mowing, others tasks consisted of: verti-cutting greens, top-dressing & overseeding new PG, spraying compost tea, re-surfacing selected areas on haul road and painting the fence around the half way house⛳️

New putting green is now in play. On the course: routine cutting, spraying fairways/semi rough and approaches with PGR, iron, urea and wetting agent, bunker maintenance and beginning the install of chipping mats. New brushes from Sports Metals ltd - Inc on tees mowers doing a great job 👌🏻

First day of Summer

Busy week on the course as we prepare for the Gents Open this weekend. On top of general mowing, other tasks included: a spray application to tees & greens, divoting fairways, spraying shrub beds,bunker maintenance, overseeding weak/high traffic areas and fertilising said areas👍🏻

A varied week of work & weather as we head into the final third of the season. Routine mowing, spraying of a total herbicide to shrub beds, greens sprayed with a turf health package and tees given a granular fertiliser. Weak areas on putting green given a spike and seed also 💪🏻

Lots going on again this week including bunker maintenance: flymowed, strimmed, weeded and sand levels checked. Greens maintenance: combination of Air2g2 & solid tine, fertilised and compost tea spray including our first use of a bio fungicide. Routine mowing carried out too 👏🏻

Enjoying this current spell of warm weather, however the irrigation system is working overtime!💦 The bowser has also been out on areas that were recently seeded. Mowing of all areas completed and tees were sprayed with a mix of wetting agent, nutrition package, PGR & seaweed 👍🏻
