Another fun filled week. Been to Royal Marsden Sutton today for bloods and consultation. Op tomorrow at Chelsea for 2nd kidney stent. If levels don't come down to normal, I won't be able to get any more treatment, so🤞 Regardless of the outcome, I will never give up 😃💪👍

I am speechless, unusually. Arrived at the Royal Marsden at 8.30am and was taken straight round to prep area to get ready for op. Went to theatre connected to machines, and the doctor started scans for my stent. After many checks, he said my kidneys were fine, so no op.😳 next??

Thank you so much for your support. It really makes a difference 👏 I heard from the hospital yesterday to attend a kidney function test next Wed, then a cardio echogram the following week. If ok I could start a new treatment the week after 🤞Creatinines down from 194 to 118 🤗🥰

I had a long, hot day yesterday. Had bloods and a 4 hour kidney function test at the Marsden. I think it went well and my bloods were good. Get results in 3 days, so 🤞💪 I'm looking forward to seeing the Champions League draw today, COYG❤️🤍

Was at the Royal Marsden yesterday to have NM heart scan, bloods and consultation. Everything was fine, including my kidney function test last week, so I am starting a stage 1 triple chemotherapy trial on Monday. Absolutely buzzing, 3 initial cycles, with 3 more if working 💪🤞😃

My 2 eldest grandsons, Callum and Freddie, went back to school this week. And my 4 year old grandson, Tommy, started his local school. They're all growing up so fast but I'm lucky enough to see it 🥰🥰

Just had my 1st double chemo infusions at the Royal Marsden Cancer Centre. I've been sent home with a big bag of meds, including oral chemo tablets, of which I have to take 2 twice a day, together with steroids, antisickness, and many others 😲
