A few Grey Partridge chicks in today, happy finding a few ants and any other insects in the grass. I like to start all my chicks on grass before adding cardboard bedding at about 5 - 6 days, stops them trying to eat the bedding and hopefully gives them a bit more natural start

Starting to see a few broods of #greypartridge some good reports of bigger numbers throughout the valley. Just a few years ago we didn’t have any greys in the area, but now most farms/estates around us have some. #workingtogethertomakeadifference
