Absolutely loved heading in to London to see Gail Brodholt exhibition yesterday and even managed a post-rain walk along the Thames

Eames Fine Art Soooo good to see the new Gail Brodholt today. Beautifully curated. A delight to see these works in the flesh. Highly recommend to anyone who can get to it.

After my talk on Wright of Derby, I went to see his house, near Derby Cathedral. A sorry sight; derelict, under threat of demolition, occupied by squatters. A sad way to remember one of our artistic giants!

Here’s the Regent’s Canal with one of the magnificent Bethnal Green gas holders in the distance. 555 flats are now being built on the site, some of which are to be squeezed into the two gas holders - a sad ending to 150 years of London’s history… 🙁 #bethnalgreen #regentscanal
