Anyone who has ever been through domestic abuse it is literally NOT your job to hide all the abuse you went through for your abuser. You telling people about it is not starting “drama” it’s taking your power back. Period. The end.

Abusers will always try to paint the picture that they’ve “changed” when in reality they’re abuse just took on a different form. Going from punching someone as hard as you can in the face/head to forcefully holding their arms so they can’t leave or move IS STILL ABUSE.
