I knew Dickie Hodge from #Uttoxeter, who did not return to the hero’s welcome he deserved when returning from imprisonment in Singapore. Years later, I appreciate some of the cruelty/hardship he suffered. My thoughts and gratitude are with him & all those like him today #VJday
