*The sheriff's office is mostly in darkness, with the blinds closed and the sun not passing by the windows until in the afternoon. Only a thin slither of light stretches across the room and blinds Hitch in his right eye as he refuses to move. It's just light, after all.*

*He sits unmoving, one eye closed and frowning to himself as he listens to the clock ticking second-by-second.*

*A stack of papers across the room topples loudly. Hitch exhales loudly.*

Everything is loud. I hate it.

*He whines, covering his ears and laying his chin on the desk.* Loud loud loud. Bright. Dark. Loud.

*Bleary-eyed, Hitch steps out of the sheriff's office, head bowed and ears flattened. He's either on a mission or avoiding ponies.*

*He slinks through town, making for the promenade, and drops to his butt, grumping.*

*It's one of /those/ days.*

*Hitch loudly slurps a protein shake as he patrols the Mane Street, aviators reflecting the morning sun and a smug expression on his face.*

Hey, you! Yes, you. I see you. Just /what/ do you think you're doing? I'll have you know you're in violation of code six-seven-three! NOW PICK UP THAT LITTER!

*The pony screams in terror, swiping up their discarded can. Hitch glares after them, waiting until they're out of sight before relaxing his expression and smirking. He pat's himself on the shoulder.* Good work, sheriff.

*Struttin'!*

*Hitch whistles as he trots through town, a protein shake in hoof and a confident smirk on his face.* Gooood morning, Dahlia. You're looking positively/radiant/ today.

*Hitch wakes up, stretches, dabs, and then jumps out of bed to grab a coffee.*

*You don't?*

*For what it's worth, and despite it being a Saturday, Hitch has been busy working hard, smoldering politely in ponies' directions, and patrolling through town. He is hungry by now though.*

*While his hunger for justice is never satiated, a good smoothie works just as well in the meantime.*
