“There was no lack of money for falsely imprisoning us… but when we came out, there was a sudden shortage of memory and of money. It was the state that took us hostage and traumatised us and now they don’t want to recognise that in any shape or form” theguardian.com/uk-news/2024/d…

Tonight, we held our second evidence session of the Westminster Commission on Joint Enterprise. A powerful discussion on racial injustices, the causes of disproportionality in joint enterprise cases, and how we can drive reform to prevent these disparities in the future.

Tonight, I hosted a powerful event in Parliament marking 50 years since the Birmingham Six - a miscarriage of justice that still echoes today. We honoured Paddy Hill & reflected on a system that keeps failing many. History is repeating itself & we must keep fighting for truth.

Was present last night. Listening to reflections on what happened. At points very moving. People present shared recent accounts of grave miscarriages too. I feel needs a wider hearing. Netflix or the BBC should take up the offer made, the public are interested believe me !
