Bored? Let's play a game! Retweet once you've spotted the cat so that others can kill some time too. I assure you, the entire cat is there. It's not a bit of a cat hiding behind something or an object that looks a bit like one. It's there. #Cats #CatLover

This week's episode sings along to Robert Altman's "Nashville." We cover the 1975 film's enormous cast, excellent music, eye-catching hair, emotional connections and more. Listen now. soundcloud.com/sicttpod/ep-17…

This is a BIG one. I wanted to do Nashville for ep 176 since oh sometime after we passed 100. I love it. I don't know if there are 5 movies I love more. It still makes me laugh, it still makes me sad, I still find more to love about it every time. Is it the best? It certainly is.

This week's episode rocks out to "Studio 666." While we're not the biggest Foo Fighters fans, we like this horror-comedy about Dave Grohl and the band making the record from Hell. Listen now. soundcloud.com/sicttpod/ep-17…

Just logging on to say that I saw Dave Chappelle live at the LBC in like 2002 at the height of his show and he was doing AIDS joke about monkeys and was not remotely funny. Dude’s been irrelevant for two decades.

This week's episode gets into some trouble with Brandon Cronenberg's new horror movie "Infinity Pool." We talk about the film's mind-bending premise and shocking twists, and we continue our trend of praising Mia Goth. Listen now. soundcloud.com/sicttpod/ep-18…

The Best Movie of 2023! Child leans into the same themes as Father, and this film definitely feels like Cronenberg. This goes from being a "trapped in a foreign prison" horror to an immediate swing into fucking sci fi death clone murder tourism and it rules. It doesn't explain.

Check out the straights talking about the late 70s NYC leather scene! I think Cruising is great, and we get into all the reasons that it might also not be good at all? Charlie learns about hanky code, and a large unknown black man interrupts our recording to punch me in the face.

Somehow, we made it to 200 episodes. To celebrate, we rented out a private theater to watch two of the greatest movies with our friends. Hollywood is the greatest movie to see in a theater, Nice Guys is the hardest I've laughed in a theater. And somehow, we have 200 episodes.

Really enjoying the way Alex Cobb imitates a dad who just got asked if Santa was real after every pitch. Another great outing SFGiants #newtweetsinceimesseduptheoriginaltweet

The movie that got Charlie Swanson to stay out until 11:30 on a school night. And how. We took a month to process this one and see what bubbled to the surface. I loved it and hated it, loved the experience, and loved being the two people laughing our asses off in a full theater.

Can’t believe we forgot to mention that shot of Peterson/Turturro down the hallway. What a shot, in a film full of them. I love this movie, wrongly criticized at the time as a Miami Vice ripoff. It’s SO much more. Great cast, desperate humans, and a cool look at dirtbag LA.

Over half of the journalists at The Press Democrat, Petaluma Argus-Courier, Sonoma Index-Tribune and North Bay Business Journal are considered low income. None of us make enough to live comfortably in the community we serve. That’s why we’re fighting for fair wages.

The movie podcast I do with Haxan Jim Duggan also became a wrestling podcast this week and it’s one my favorite episode yet. The Iron Claw is a good movie but the real story of the #vonerichs is even more fascinating and tragic. Listen here.
