We have to do away with the profit motive for all essentials like housing, health care, education and food. People can get rich on other things like the latest version of the Apple phone but not what is needed to live. Implement Universal Basic Income as a transitional solution.

How can the first 9 items be implemented as planned when the only current link to the States' actions is the Dept of Education? They have been in charge of 90% of the cost of education for decades and we still haven't improved from what the 1983 report "A Nation at Risk" revealed

The SS cap on salaries for 2025 will be $176,100. Someone making $50,000 a year pays on that full amount or $6,200 & someone making $5M a year would "owe" $620,000 but only pays the cap. Lifting the cap and barring the use of SS funds for other government expenses will save SS.
