One year ago today we launched ZACube-2! The satellite is still performing well and we continue to receive valuable data from it on a daily basis.

On 23 January 2020 #ZACube2 was able to receive AIS messages from the cable layer Léon Thévenin (645400000) on its way to repair the broken WACS/SAT-3 submarine cable. The cable provides Internet connectivity to South and West Africa.

ZACUBE-1 (TshepisoSat) turned 7 over the weekend! It was launched on 21 November 2013 and carries the first version of our CMC VHF/UHF transceiver which is still operational #CubeSat #ZACUBE1

The engineering and qualification item for our next mission is taking shape. The MDASat-1 mission has three identical 2U #CubeSat and carries an updated version of the SDR AIS receiver flown on our #ZACube2 mission #MDASat1
