We successfully tested our XTX X-band transmitter onboard #ZACube2 at a downlink rate of 50 Mbps. We would like to thank SANSA Space Operations at Hartebeeshoek for allowing us to use one of their dishes and for their assistance! #CubeSat

One year ago today we launched ZACube-2! The satellite is still performing well and we continue to receive valuable data from it on a daily basis.

Yesterday evening a bright object traveling fast in the upper atmosphere had thousands of people mesmerised. It was spotted by many in Gauteng but was visible further North into Limpopo and Zimbabwe. At first we didn't know what it was. A thread: #Meteor x.com/tWeatherSA/sta…

If you want to work in #Space, here's what to do: Take Maths and Science for metric, enroll in a physics degree, e.g at UWC, or an engineering degree, e.g. at F'SATI - CPUT, and dream big! SANSA has great opportunities too. That's it! Over and Out 😊 #Meteor 🌍📡🚀🛰️🎇
