Today I sought solace in the quaint streets of a town I’d chanced upon after wandering aimlessly with a vintage camera as my only companion. The mortal obsession of preserving moments in photographs is a concept I’ve yet to grasp, for it is fleeting, bound to slip away in time.

After a week’s worth of events, I am undeniably and utterly exhausted. Yet today, the moment I hear the gleeful laughter of kids I teach on the ice, I find myself reveling in the joy with them that warms even the coldest corners of my spirit.
