Today we finished the hedge laying and started the clear up. We're making a dead hedge in #dkhwood so the path is less wide and so we can woodchip effectively. We're using bits of the thinned layed hedge for the dead hedge. Should also be good habitat and a fungal superhighway!

The bluebells are starting to flower in #dkhwood. We hope that they spread to form a stunning carpet. These bulbs are part of our annual bulb planting initiative to increase the range of species and were paid for using our own funds. You can donate ££ on our website!

3 volunteers spent their lunchtime today planting the 50 hedging whips kindly donated to us by TCV Croydon. These were used to plug any gaps in the hedge we laid last month (which, incidentally, is starting to sprout magnificently!) #dkhwood #se5 #camberwell
