Released 0.34.0 version of Dawarich yesterday, it includes the Family feature: you can create a family, invite people and have your location shared with them constantly or in a time-limited manner. Bye-bye Life360! For now only in self-hosted version, coming to the cloud later!

Gotta gather testimonials for Dawarich website. Probably will create a simple form asking how Dawarich makes people's lives better/more convenient and post it with release notes

To my Dawarich people: it'd be great if you could drop a line of feedback or even a testimonial on Dawarich here: tally.so/r/wMkv68 Thank you!

Published today a huge post on tax optimizations in Germany through buying and renting out an apartment. I guess I'm one step closer to my German passport now

Okay, at least one thing I have to admit is working very well in Germany: ADAC, or All-German Automobile Club. The battery in my car turned out to be dead this morning (there were signs it would happen soon), I applied for help in the ADAC app and they were there 20 minutes later

I was an avid WoW player for ~8 years, starting ~2006 and stopped playing somewhere in Legion. The game just stopped being that interesting and new expansions felt more like theater than a game. Few days ago though I found John Staat's "TheWoWDiary" book

The LINUXUnplugged guys once again mention Dawarich in their podcast in the most flattering way, it feels so good to hear that recent changes are really hitting the spot: youtu.be/v8JYmPEPBeQ?t=…

What do people use to store invoices and have a broad picture of their balances? I need a tool that: 1) Allow uploading invoices/transactions PDFs and AI-parsing them 2) Build a dashboard of income and expenses with a chart 3) Allow exporting invoices to CSV + files archive
