Got interested in VO2 max late last year. Turning 47 yrs young in March this year. Came in mid 40s and just got it over an average of 50 VO2 max after about 4 months. Doing variety of things but 1x/wk Norwegian 4x4 has been key. Bryan Johnson … coming after you bro 😉

Lift heavy things.

Core philosophy in my home: We do hard things. ✅ Playing a sport you’re not good at or new to. Going to gym to lift. Learning to play instrument. Apologizing to a friend. Talking about things as a family. I want my kids to know they can do anything!

Show up and be a good actor in your community, business, friend circle, church, place of work, etc … Ya may not see it pay off on day one, but over time it’ll pay off in ways you never could have predicted. 🚀

Love this. Focus on the HARD things. Most people live to avoid the hard things. Find the easy path forward. Even putting you head in the sand in avoidance. That’s not the way. In life or in business. Choose to do the hard things and you will be rewarded!

We go family first over here! All the biz stuff is fun and fulfilling. We Tithe.ly get to do amazing work, with amazing people, serving the most important customer on the planet! But w/o my wife + kids … or even worse … at their expense … it would be missing the mark!

“Run towards bad news”. a life lesson tbh. Harder to do than you think, but sweeping under the rug or hiding is a recipe for disaster .. eventually. When you run towards bad news you force your self to gain understanding, problem solve, look for solutions!

Sad to see this. Dad of 3 in middle school. All 3 home during pandemic due to school closures. We saw the impact of that year first hand and have worked hard over the last few years to help them overcome. But it took a lot of resources to make happen.

Love this essay by Bezos. Being yourself and not conforming is tough—in life and business. Exceptional people fight constant pressure to fit in, to be normal. Let that sink in. Then decide if you’re willing to let others win.
